My name is Bob Kessen. I have 15 years experience as a personal fitness trainer and received my training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in 2002. NASM is recognized as a global leader in the health and fitness industry. Their teaching methods are based upon scientific research in areas of general fitness to help people of all ages lead active healthy lives. I provide sports conditioning for athletes to enhance athletic performance, therapeutic exercises to eliminate pain, special balance exercises to help senior citizens reduce the risk of falls and core strengthening to prevent back problems.

I use techniques developed by NASM to design custom in-home exercise programs for beginners, teenagers, men, women, senior citizens and athletes who live in St. Louis and St. Louis County. I also provide private in-home training for people who live in St. Charles County, Missouri.

I have a proven fitness program that increases athletic performance, decreases injuries and facilitates recovery from injuries for anyone playing sports including high school or professional athletes. In addition, I help older adults enhance their balance using a special program designed to prevent falls as well as increasing functional strength needed to perform daily tasks.

I can help anyone who wants to improve their overall health and fitness as well as assisting individuals who want to continue with an exercise program after completing rehabilitation therapy. I have the expertise to help you with therapeutic exercises that will significantly reduce and eliminate chronic pain. My training develops lean muscle tissue which is an important component to help people lose weight.

If you want to hire a personal trainer but have a tight financial budget, I will teach you how to work out on your own. You only pay for my services when we meet to learn new exercises and then you can perform the new exercises by yourself. However, if you want my help more than once a week, I will be happy to help you achieve your goals.

I am currently offering a "2 For 1 Special" where couples and workout partners can train together for the price of one. Most health clubs, fitness centers and private gyms typically charge extra when two people train at the same time. A training partner is a good way to help keep yourself motivated on those days when you would skip your workout if you trained alone.

Personal Training At Home Is Ideal For People Who Like Privacy

St. Louis In-Home Fitness offers a variety of functional strength exercises for beginners, athletes, elderly people, teenage boys and girls or anyone who wants to exercise in private. This is a good way to work out if you are if you are a beginner or self-conscious about other people watching you train at a health club. St. Louis In-Home Fitness training programs are based upon systematic and progressive development with new exercises introduced each week as your body becomes stronger. If you have a busy schedule, you only need to work out 2-3 hours a week following my program and you will achieve excellent results.

A Personal Trainer Helps Senior Citizens Improve Balance

St. Louis In-Home Fitness has a special exercise program that helps senior citizens improve their balance, reduce the risk of falls and allows them to maintain their independence. My unique training program uses simple sensory equipment to enhance stability for older adults who are having difficulty maintaining their balance while walking or simply standing. Do not let your age or current physical shape prevent you from achieving the benefits of my balance exercise program. A 100 year old woman trains twice a week with me to improve leg strength and increase balance which helps her walk with more confidence. I have simple exercises for my older clients that are proven to increase balance and lower the chance for serious injuries caused by falls. Personal Training Eliminates Chronic Back And Joint Pain

St. Louis In-Home Fitness uses exercises to reduce and eliminate chronic pain in the body.. My training program utilizes simple exercises that focus on muscle imbalances which are typically the main cause for most back and joint pain. A muscle imbalance can not be seen on an X-ray or MRI, therefore, it is not addressed as a source of pain. Further, use of medication to treat your pain may give temporary relief of the symptoms but they do not address the actual underlying cause of your problem and you may cause additional damage by masking the pain along with the many serious side effects from the use of pain medications. I can help you develop a healthier body and have a better quality of life without pain.

In addition to helping older clients, I train competitive high school athletes and also work with individuals who play recreational sports for fun. My advanced athletic training program uses exercises that are proven through scientific research at the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to enhance athletic performance for anyone playing sports. NASM trains professional athletes who play in MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL and also members of the USA Olympic Team. Professional athletes from around the country travel to NASM in Southern California during their off seasons to increase athlete ability. You now have an opportunity to get the same training techniques here in the St. Louis and St. Charles County areas. I will increase your athletic performance and help reduce your risk for common sports injuries.
